Kathmandu, A fresh dry landslide struck the Narayangadh–Muglin road section at Tuiin Khola this afternoon, once again halting traffic in both directions.

According to Krishna Acharya, Information Officer at the Division Road Office in Bharatpur, the landslide occurred around 12:00 PM, covering approximately 70 meters of the road. He reported that debris is still falling, making cleanup efforts more challenging.

Two heavy machines have been deployed to clear the debris. However, due to the continuous sliding of loose material, it remains uncertain when the road will reopen.

Just last week, a similar landslide at this very location had disrupted vehicular movement for nearly 48 hours, causing significant delays and travel inconvenience.

Authorities have requested commuters to avoid the route and stay updated through official channels until the road is cleared and declared safe.
