Kathmandu, President Ram Chandra Paudel and Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a meeting on Wednesday at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas. According to the President’s Secretariat, the two discussed current political affairs, preparations for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5), and the overall security situation.
Before meeting the President, Prime Minister Karki had separate meetings with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) and Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) Chief AIG Dr. Manoj KC.
Similarly, on Tuesday evening, PM Karki also met with Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel. These meetings are seen as significant steps toward ensuring security and coordination ahead of the upcoming national elections.
