Kathmandu, A passenger bus (registration number Ba 5 Kha 50) traveling from Tarkeshwar to Machhapokhari overturned on Saturday, injuring more than 20 people, according to police.

The accident occurred at the uphill turn near the Machhapokhari bypass. Preliminary reports suggest the bus lost control while navigating the curve, causing it to tip over.

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and began rescue operations. The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The severity of injuries has not yet been confirmed.
