Kathmandu, The prices of both gold and silver witnessed a decline in the Nepali market on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), both precious metals saw a notable drop compared to Wednesday's rates.

The price of hallmark gold, which was traded at Rs. 216,100 per tola on Wednesday, decreased by Rs. 900 to reach Rs. 215,200 per tola on Thursday, as per the latest pricing published by the federation.Similarly, the price of tejabi (worked) gold also fell, dropping from Rs. 215,400 per tola on Wednesday to Rs. 214,500 per tola today.

In addition to gold, silver prices also dropped in the domestic market. The price of silver, which stood at Rs. 2,550 per tola on Wednesday, fell by Rs. 30 to Rs. 2,520 per tola on Thursday.

Analysts attribute the drop in gold and silver prices to fluctuations in international bullion markets and changes in the US dollar exchange rate. However, experts also suggest that there remains a possibility of price rebound in the coming days, depending on global economic trends and market sentiment.
