Kathmandu, Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a meeting with National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday.
According to Dahal’s secretariat, he extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed prime minister during the meeting.
The two leaders discussed the current political climate and recent national developments. Chairperson Dahal also briefed the Prime Minister on the functioning and status of the National Assembly, as well as the damages sustained by the Federal Parliament Building in Baneshwor and the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Karki emphasized the critical role of the National Assembly in steering the country toward peace and stability. She called for cooperation from all political forces to collectively find a way out of the current national crisis.
The meeting highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration and unity to address the pressing challenges facing the nation.
