Kathmandu, The printing and distribution of driving licenses has been halted indefinitely.
The Department of Transport Management issued a notice on Sunday, stating that all IT systems related to license printing and distribution will remain shut until further notice.
According to the department, the disruption was caused by vandalism, arson, and theft at its offices, which damaged electronic equipment, printing machines, and servers.
"In this difficult situation, all systems related to driving license and electric vehicle registration services will remain suspended until further notice," the statement said.
