Kathmandu, Eight people were injured when a passenger jeep heading to Asurkot from Sandhikharka met with an accident in Bhumikastan Municipality–6 on Wednesday. According to Arghakhanchi Police, the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 1706) veered off the road and fell nearly 150 meters after its brakes reportedly failed.
There were 11 passengers on board, and eight sustained injuries. The injured were rescued and taken to Arghakhanchi Hospital in Sandhikharka for treatment. Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
