Kathmandu – Two people lost their lives in a bus accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Nigale, Dhankuta. According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the passenger bus traveling from Biratnagar to Mahalaxmi Municipality met with an accident, resulting in the deaths of 55-year-old Ganga Karki and 60-year-old Dilli Baral, both from Mahalaxmi-7.

The accident took place on the road section in Nigale, Dhankuta. The bus, bearing the registration number Province 1-02-001 Kha 9606 and operated by Sairam, went out of control and fell off the road, killing the two individuals on the spot.

Although the cause of the accident is yet to be determined, a police team has reached the site and initiated an investigation.
