Kathmandu, According to the Nepal Panchang Nirnayak Samiti, the auspicious time (sahit) for receiving Dashain Tika in the year 2082 B.S. falls on 16th Asoj (October 2, 2025) at 11:53 AM. On this day, the Devi Visarjan (farewell ritual of the goddess) can be performed at 9:23 AM.
Dashain, Nepal’s biggest and most cherished festival, brings together families and communities in an expression of love, blessings, and victory of good over evil. For many, it is a time for receiving Dakshina (monetary blessings), wearing new clothes, enjoying traditional feasts, and remembering loved ones who may be far away or no longer with us.
