Kathmandu, The prices of both gold and silver have fallen in the Nepali market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold declined by Rs 2,000 per tola, settling at Rs 239,900 per tola. On Sunday, the price had been set at Rs 241,900 per tola.

Before the Tihar festival, the price of gold had reached Rs 253,500 per tola. However, after the market reopened following the Tihar holidays, the price had already dropped sharply by Rs 11,600 per tola on Sunday. The downward trend continued on Monday, leading to reduced trading activity in the bullion market.

Similarly, the price of silver also decreased on Monday. Silver, which was priced at Rs 3,015 per tola on Sunday, dropped to Rs 2,980 per tola.

According to traders, the decline in international gold and silver prices has directly influenced the local market, resulting in a noticeable drop in Nepal’s bullion prices.
